Sony Xperia Tipo Released in India


Sony Sony Sony, another toy to play with. Sony Mobile India just announced it’s very first a new economic Smartphone called Sony Xperia Tipo in India. It’s also comes in dual SIM version. This Phone is against the entire budget smart phone available in the market these days like Samsung Galaxy Ace and HTC Desire C with dozens of big and small change.





Sony Xperia Tipo comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, with a 3.2 inch scratch-resistant display, an 800MHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.2 megapixel camera at the back, 2GB of internal memory with a microSD card slot, all powered by a 1500 mAh battery. 




Sony hopes to garner increased consumer interest by its slim, slick and stylish design integrated Social networking applications, Sony’s xLOUD audio technology to gives you ultimate music experience and with its reasonable price of 10000rs in the Indian market.

Google Introduce Its first underwater panoramas Street Views


IS Google God? Just like God, Google is everywhere. And by everywhere we mean “Everywhere”. Google recently add a very new and unique feature of underwater panoramic images to Google Maps. In additional to this exciting new feature, they are also planning to create a most pioneering, comprehensive and accurate usable underwater map of the World. You can also learn how to swim, hot places to visit, where you can explore more than 500 species of sea and experience the most incredible living coral reefs in the oceans around the world.

To do this they are partnering with The Catlin Seaview Survey ( a major scientific study unit of the world’s

Tabeo : New Entry in Tablet Wars

Now Toys R is just not a toy shop. They have recently launched a new android tablet for kids called “Tabeo”. Tablets are increasingly popular these days amongst the children’s. SO they want to grab the attention and wallets of the youngest tech consumers who are quickly adopting Smartphone’s and other gadgets. Toys R Us also sells other electronic devices like Apple I-pad, but this is its first store-brand tablet.

Since children have a habit of dropping things, particularly when they are expensive, the Tabeo comes with a removable multi colour bumpers that will help protect it from damages. Additional to bumpers other accessories will also be on sale. 


Tabeo runs on a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, with 1 Gigabytes’ RAM and 4 Gigabytes’ flash memory, which can be expanded with microSDHC cards. The 7-inch TFT LCD display has a resolution of 800x480 and the battery life is an estimated 10 hours of normal use. Tabeo is also equipped with WiFi, a HDMI port and with front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.0 version and comes with 50 pre installed application selected for children, including games such as Angry Birds and Cut The Rope, and a book app called istorybooks to help children learn as well as play.

They also open a Curator app store to give kids access to 7000+ number of programs with Parental controls to ensure safety and security. It will be launched on Oct. 21 and retail for $149.99. 


It appears that children are expected to drive tablet sales in coming holidays. Many families will buy new tablets and hand down older models to their kids. According to Gartner consumers are expected to buy around 180 million tablets in 2013.

New Sony Xperia Tablet S

Android market is getting hotter day by day and decidedly crowded. Sony just announced a new Android tablet but still isn't cheap; it also brings a load of TV-ready features and a revamped Android 4.0 skin. This year’s it is called the Sony Xperia Tablet S. As you can see they’ve stuck with the folded-over design but this time it’s much slimmer and sleeker as a result, the Sony Xperia Tablet S feels lighter and still has that magazine feel when you hold it in your hands.

Sony also offers dozens of big and small change to the tablet. Xperia Tablet S comes in an aluminum shell with LCD screen size of (9.4-inches) also have anti-glare coating on its display and a splash-resistant (but not waterproof) coating all over, which means you can use the screen even your fingers are wet but resolution (1280 x 800) remains the same just like its previous version. This time Sony uses the NVIDIA Tegra 3 (quad core processor) single-core operations clocked at 1.3/1.4GHz with 16 to 64 Gigabytes of memory storage.

You'll also find a volume rocker, headphone jack, and the power/sleep button. This time Sony Xperia Tablet S comes with 8-megapixel rear camera with 1.3 megapixel camera in front.

But this time Sony hopes to garner increased consumer interest by incorporating remote control and macro functionality with their new tablet. The most interesting feature of this tablet is that it comes with remote control feature. This remote control feature in time Sony Xperia Tablet S is pre-installed which can act as a universal remote to control TVs, home stereos system, DVD and Blu-ray players and (Set Top Box)cable boxes, even whether they carry a Sony brand or not.

Another interesting software feature of Sony Xperia Tablet S touts is of multiple users’ modes. Where you have different customized windows for every user starting from wallpapers to home screen layouts etc. Because of which your friends and kids can enjoy a single tablet without snooping around your email and personal stuff. There is also “Small Apps” function that allows you to use one application in a small screen while continuing to use another main application. This Small Apps functionality includes a calculator, voice recorder, web browser, timer, and the IR remote.

Overall all these ergonomic wedge design and an integrated IR universal remote control make it unique and give you above and beyond the typical Android tablet experience, but it was bit pricey.
