Since children have a habit of dropping things, particularly when they are expensive, the Tabeo comes with a removable multi colour bumpers that will help protect it from damages. Additional to bumpers other accessories will also be on sale.
Tabeo runs on a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, with 1 Gigabytes’ RAM and 4 Gigabytes’ flash memory, which can be expanded with microSDHC cards. The 7-inch TFT LCD display has a resolution of 800x480 and the battery life is an estimated 10 hours of normal use. Tabeo is also equipped with WiFi, a HDMI port and with front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.0 version and comes with 50 pre installed application selected for children, including games such as Angry Birds and Cut The Rope, and a book app called istorybooks to help children learn as well as play.
They also open a Curator app store to give kids access to 7000+ number of programs with Parental controls to ensure safety and security. It will be launched on Oct. 21 and retail for $149.99.
