The overall design of Asus Memo Pad HD7 is something similar to the Nexus 7 (but around 40g lighter) though we figure out some people will be less keen on the Asus MeMo Pad's smooth glossy plastic casing, despite the fact it feels pretty sturdy. Even after this, tablet didn't feel slippery. But even with these looks, the different color back panel options give the ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 a fashion-forward design
The tablet also packs rear-facing speaker bar, which features ASUS SonicMaster technology, produced pretty loud audio for a small living room. To enhance the Audio experience Asus Memo Pad is pre-loaded with ASUS's AudioWizard software which allows you to adjust separate volume settings, such as Movie, Gaming or Music Mode ETC. But these audio differences can be easily noticeable only on expandable speakers.

The Asus Memo Pad HD7 is capable of 720p HD playback with sharper and brighter image processing. Viewing at different angles on this tablet is also pretty much fine. The best part of Asus MeMO Pad HD 7 is, it includes a unique screen-tuning utility app called ASUS Splendid that allows you to adjust the hue and saturation, color temperature while toggling Vibrant Mode. Perhaps only complaint is the glossy screen
finish which reflects a lot of light.
There is a 5 mega pixel camera with autofocus which is capable of capturing 1080p video, but there's no flash module. Its camera includes a lot of helpful features like HDR shooting, Panorama Mode, Landscape mode and Burst Mode. But this type of camera isn't bad for such a budget tablet.
Based on what we've seen so far, the Asus Memo Pad HD7 is a serious contender to the Nexus 7. But if you're on a strict budget, the Asus Memo Pad HD7 is a better choice.
