Finally Something new and fresh. On second day at IFA in Berlin, Toshiba unveiled its first tablet with Windows 8 tablet against Acer "Toshiba Encore".

The Toshiba Encore comes with an AutoBrite 8-inch (1280x800 pixels) LCD multi-touch display touchscreen. It is powered by an Intel Bay Trail Atom T processor with Generation 7 intel graphics and 2 LPDDR3 memory. The company says that the Encore has been developed in close collaboration with Microsoft and has been optimized for both legacy Windows programs and Windows 8 apps (Modern UI apps).
The tablet weighs about 479 grams with the thickness of 0.42 inch which make it a great piece to easily slide in and out of any bag without a problem. The Encore also includes Micro-USB port, Micro-HDMI port and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS navigation.
Its sports an 2-megapixel front camera and 8-megapixel rear camera and capable of shooting 1080p Full HD videos. The company also says that the tablet is “optimized for Skype,” with better audio quality due to its dual beam-forming noise reduction microphones.
The back panel of Toshiba Encore look like a premium product due to its aluminum color and rich texture even it's made of plastic.
The Toshiba Encore will hit the market shelves in November and will come with a price tag of $329.99.
