Samsung unveiled it’s first curved OLED display smartphone “Samsung Galaxy Round”. It is the world’s first smartphone with curved display and will be available in Korea starting from 10/Oct/2013.

Looking at the spec of the new Samsung Galaxy Round's has 5.7-inch 1080p full HD Super AMOLED display with slightly horizontal curve, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in memory with Micro-SD card Slot, 2MP front-facing and 13MP rear facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Round measures 7.9mm thick and weight 154g only. The handset is powered by a 2,800mAh battery (Which is sufficient for the OLED display screen) and capable of giving 16 hr. of battery backup.
This curved screen smartphone seems to be promising. But we are not sure about the phone feel against your face. Then again, there is a wide range of user experiences and South Korean giant Samsung has been quite successful at targeting android market.
