Zync Tablet Z-909 Review

Recently I came across news one such low-cost Android tablet, dubbed ZYNC Pad Z909 made its way to our review labs. Priced at Rs.3,900. Let’s find out if the price is justified or the tablet comes with umpteen compromises.

ZYNC Pad Z909 front and back

Affordable Zync Pad Z909 runes on Android 2.2 and comes up with earphones, USB cable, meager stylus charger, cleaning cloth, case and a ScratchGuard (Screen Protector). It has 4GB of built-in memory, and expanded up to 16GB using the memory card. Mediocre design of zync pad z909 is made up of glossy plastic which is not at all good.

The ZYNC Pad Z909 is fuelled by an 800 MHz processor with 256 MB RAM. But there is only 144 MB RAM free for other application to run. This is surely not enough memory for running 90% of application in the android market. This low end tablet comes with annoyed restiveness touch which surely doesn't give you a great experience during browsing internet and photographs.

ZYNC Pad Z909 specification

It consists of front facing camera which is placed in left side. But it is of no use, you cannot use this camera for video call neither with skype or nor other with other software’s. Which make this camera of no use? Thus we found the overall score is very low…..

Pros :-

  • Cost is very low
  • Sufficient to run internet and watching movies.

Cons :-

  • It get hanged when we plug any USB dongle to run internet.
  • You cannot use front camera for video calling
  • They do not have service centre in many cities. So if it get hanged you cannot think of getting it reset or repaired even though you have a warranty
  • The touch response is very poor
  • Restiveness touch gives you poor user interference.
  • It is installed on Ubuntu or Linux so even you do not have option of either upgrading Android nor Skype for video call
